(Back in the) Greatest State in the Union

I now have a working computer (yee-haw!) and in a few days, once I get over the thrill of again being able to pay my bills (how did people survive without online banking?), I will post again.

Promise.

Cross my heart and hope to die.

Byrd’s death + July 4th + living in a new town + preaching on Naaman in Spanish + reflecting on my Middle East trip = several good blog posts in the works!

Check out this short article and loooooooooong video to keep you occupied in the meantime:

“Robert Byrd, Living History” (NYTimes Op-Ed, 29 June 2010)

Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) Memorial Service (2 July 2010)

(Be sure to wave at Bishop Grove when he gives the invocation!  And laugh at Clinton when he suggests revising the marriage vows!)
